About me
Hi, I'm Chelsea Augusto
I work with exquisitely sensitive people who are tired of surviving and ready to feel safe in their own bodies. Whether you're healing from childhood trauma, exploring neurodivergence, or reckoning with how deeply the past lives in your nervous system–I'm here to help you come home to yourself.
My journey began in 2013 as a substance abuse counselor, where I witnessed how profoundly our bodies hold onto the past. Since working at McLean Hospital and Neurodiversity Counseling Services, one thing remains clear: beneath anxiety, perfectionism, and chronic self-doubt, there's often a nervous system doing exactly what it had to do to keep going.
My work is deeply informed by my own healing journey through generational trauma. I know what it's like to carry wounds that aren't yours, to feel like an outsider in your own life, and to exhaust yourself trying to be "fine" while never feeling safe inside. My lived experience allows me to meet you exactly where you are because I've been there too.
The same sensitivity that once felt like a burden became my greatest teacher. Working with neurodivergent clients has shaped my approach to nervous system work–one that honors neurodiversity while tending to the wounds of growing up in chaotic or emotionally unavailable environments.
Building my private practice has allowed me to work more deeply with the people I'm most passionate about serving: the deep feelers, the cycle breakers, and the ones who long for a world they feel truly at home in.
You don't need to hide your sensitivity or define yourself by your pain–only to discover its exquisite resilience, wisdom, and courage. It would be an honor to support you on your path back home to yourself.
